Set in the Cheshire town of Congleton, The Lion & Swan is a recently refurbished property, dating back to the 17th Century. We have lovingly restored its original charm and appeal, whilst opening new areas with their own character and atmosphere. 

The Lion & Swan Lounge is situated in the oldest part of the building, steeped in history and interest, perfect for the quiet times during your day to catch up with friends and relatives. 

Ristorante Leone is a contemporary Italian restaurant where most of your day will be held. Your ceremony will be within our indoor Terrace, comfortably holding up to 70 guests. After you are officially wed, you will dine in the restaurant, which is directly linked to the Terrace. 

Radley & Co is our live music cellar bar, this can be used for your evening reception (dependant on availability), or we can transform the Terrace into the perfect party venue.

Our bespoke bedrooms have been meticulously designed for ultimate comfort and enjoyment. Yours will be a choice of our two Signature rooms and the stay will be with our compliment, to congratulate you on your special day.

You will meet with our dedicated wedding coordinator and receive a full tour of our magnificent venue, accompanied with a glass of Champagne of course. 

You will have the chance to review the menu for your Wedding Breakfast with our Head Chef and we will invite you to dine with our compliments for you to taste your dishes and sample the wine selections.

With your specifications, we will organise your Bridal Bouquet, Corsages for 3 guests, table flower decorations and buttonholes for the Groom and Best Man.

We will arrange your wedding cake from a choice of three beautiful designs.

Guests will begin to arrive into the Lounge, where they can enjoy conversation and a drink from the bar.

As the time approaches, we will begin to seat your guests within the Terrace in preparation for your unforgettable moment.

After the ceremony, you will join your guests in the bar area of the Terrace. Here, you will enjoy Champagne, canapes and have an opportunity for photographs. 

When you are ready, we will then begin to take seats within the restaurant area, which will be perfectly set to your requirements to enjoy your ‘Wedding Breakfast’ and is also a great opportunity for any speeches that you may have planned.

After your meal you will have an opportunity to relax and unwind before your evening guests arrive.

The evening reception can be held in either the Terrace or Radley & Co. Whichever you choose, you are welcome to organise this as you wish. Whether you would like a DJ, live music or photobooths, both spaces are ideal. We have plenty of informal food options to choose from too.

Exclusive management on the day by our wedding co-ordinator, who will be at your disposal all day.

Table flower decorations, bridal bouquet, corsages for three guests, buttonholes for the groom and best man.

Your evening reception is not included in this package, this can be quoted for you dependant on how many guests, venue and day of the week. Our wedding co-ordinator can help organise this with you.
